The Voice of the Lord Thunders Like Many Waters

Worship prayer exalting the Lord whose voice thunders (Ps 29:3) and is like many waters (Rev 1:15). Declare His glory, power, and majesty.

Exalting the Lord of Glory

“Father in heaven, we exalt You, the Lord of glory, the One seated upon the throne. Your voice resounds like the rushing of many waters, like thunder that shakes the heavens. Nothing can withstand the sound of Your majesty.”

Revelation 19:6  “Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: ‘Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.’”

Creation Responds to His Voice

“Lord, when You speak, the earth trembles, the seas roar, and the mountains bow down before You. The heavens declare Your glory, and all creation responds to the power of Your Word.”

Psalm 29:3  “The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.”

Psalm 29:4  “The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.”

The Power of His Voice

“Father, we fall down in awe before You. Your voice brings life, peace, and strength. At Your command, light shines in the darkness, chains are broken, and storms are silenced.”

Psalm 29:8  “The voice of the Lord shakes the desert; the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.”

Psalm 147:15  “He sends his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly.”

Jesus Christ, the Living Word

“We worship You, Jesus Christ, the Living Word, whose voice calls the dead from their graves, whose Word heals the sick, calms the storm, and rebukes the enemy.”

John 5:25  “Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.”

The Thunder of His Voice

“Holy Spirit, let the sound of Your voice be like many waters over our souls. Wash away fear, doubt, and confusion. Let the thunder of Your Word drive back darkness and fill us with holy awe.”

2 Samuel 22:14  “The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.”

Psalm 29:9  “The voice of the Lord twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. And in his temple all cry, ‘Glory!’”

Joining Heaven’s Worship

“We cry, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come. We join the chorus of heaven’s worship declaring “You alone are worthy of all praise, dominion, and power forever.”

Revelation 4:8  “Day and night they never stop saying: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.”

Hearing His Voice in Our Lives

“Mighty God, let the sound of Your voice be heard in our lives; guiding us, strengthening us, and filling us with holy reverence. For You say, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

The Lord Over Many Waters

“We exalt You, Lord of Hosts. Your voice thunders like many waters, and we bow before Your majesty in worship.”
